Care Coordination
Experienced Care Consultants assist with every aspect of your care:
- Help with selecting medical institutions and physicians, based on the condition, proposed treatment, cost, location, availability of services, hospital reputation, etc.
- Coordinating your hospital admission and arranging appointments
- Arranging physician referrals
- Arranging interpreters or any specialized transportation
- Providing you with hospital information and guidelines to prepare for your admission
- Assisting with hotel and lodging arrangements
- Helping with your return home and discharge planning
A Treatment Management option includes concurrent medical case management services (especially valuable for complicated medical conditions) where a WorldCare Medical Director works with your physicians during your care in the U.S. to help make the most appropriate treatment decisions for quality care, continuously monitoring your needs and medical options, and communicating discharge and follow-up plans to your local doctor.
