International Provider Network

This includes over 4,000 doctors around the world, in almost every medical specialty, certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Royal College of Physicians (UK) and Royal College of Surgeons (UK). The physicians in the network are evaluated based on their professional credentials, language skills (especially English) and accessibility for international patients.

If you or a loved one become ill while living or traveling abroad, you can contact a Regional Physician Advisor, who will then help you coordinate your care in their region. In many cases, we can arrange direct billing with your insurance, so you may not even need to wait for reimbursement.

You can access the International Provider Community online, by searching for physicians, clinics or hospitals at destinations in over 180 countries, reviewing detailed profiles, selecting a primary care physician who will bill directly or scheduling a specialist appointment online with direct billing.
You also have access to a set of web-based resources such as useful health information on worldwide destinations, or tools and services to help in administering claims and managing costs, to help you save on medical services.
