  • Injury to a tooth.

Types of Tooth Injuries

  • Loosened tooth - may bleed a little from the gums.
  • Displaced tooth (usually pushed inward).
  • Chipped or fractured tooth.  
  • Avulsed (knocked out) tooth - a dental emergency for permanent teeth.
