Un rapport pr\u00e9liminaire de l&#039;\u00e9tude CCGA (Circulating Cell-Free Genome Atlas), actuellement en cours et parmi les premi\u00e8res \u00e0 explorer la faisabilit\u00e9 du s\u00e9quen\u00e7age de l&#039;ADN sanguin pour le d\u00e9pistage pr\u00e9coce du cancer, sugg\u00e8re que ce test sanguin pr\u00e9sente un potentiel pour la d\u00e9tection pr\u00e9coce du cancer du poumon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le diagnostic pr\u00e9coce du cancer du poumon est essentiel pour am\u00e9liorer les taux de survie, et un simple test sanguin r\u00e9alis\u00e9 chez le m\u00e9decin pourrait avoir un impact majeur sur la survie. Toutefois, avant qu&#039;un tel test puisse \u00eatre largement utilis\u00e9, une validation suppl\u00e9mentaire sur de plus grands ensembles de donn\u00e9es et dans le cadre d&#039;\u00e9tudes incluant des personnes non atteintes de cancer serait n\u00e9cessaire. Les biopsies liquides, tests analysant l&#039;ADN acellulaire dans le sang, sont actuellement utilis\u00e9es pour orienter le choix des th\u00e9rapies cibl\u00e9es chez les personnes d\u00e9j\u00e0 diagnostiqu\u00e9es d&#039;un cancer du poumon. Jusqu&#039;\u00e0 r\u00e9cemment, les donn\u00e9es sugg\u00e9rant que l&#039;analyse de l&#039;ADN acellulaire puisse permettre un d\u00e9pistage pr\u00e9coce de la maladie \u00e9taient limit\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c Nous sommes ravis que les premiers r\u00e9sultats de l&#039;\u00e9tude CCGA d\u00e9montrent la possibilit\u00e9 de d\u00e9tecter un cancer du poumon \u00e0 un stade pr\u00e9coce \u00e0 partir d&#039;\u00e9chantillons sanguins gr\u00e2ce au s\u00e9quen\u00e7age du g\u00e9nome \u201d, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le Dr Geoffrey R. Oxnard, auteur principal de l&#039;\u00e9tude au Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. \u201c Il existe un besoin non satisfait \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9chelle mondiale de tests de d\u00e9pistage pr\u00e9coce du cancer du poumon facilement applicables par les syst\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9.
