Hassan S. Sharif, MD
President and Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Sharif is a founding member, Director, President and Chief Executive Officer of WorldCare International, Inc. (WorldCare). In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Dr. Sharif holds an honorary consultant post in the Department of Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital. Prior to his current role, Dr. Sharif served as a Department Chairman of Radiology at the Armed Forces Hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia beginning in 1985. In this capacity, he organized and ran the training program for radiologists, which continues to be accredited by the Royal Colleges of Radiology in London and Dublin. He organized the First International Course on Magnetic Resonance Imaging while in Riyadh in 1986, which continues to be conducted by leading experts from Europe and the United States.

A 1974 graduate of the American University of Beirut, (AUB) School of Medicine, Dr. Sharif completed his radiology training at AUB, the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff, St. Bartholomew’s Hospital in London and Magnetic Resonance training at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He is a Fellow of The Royal College of Radiologists, London and is a sub-specialist in cross-sectional imaging, neuroradiology and the musculoskeletal system. He received several awards from the Radiological Society of North America, the European Congress of Radiology and the Society of Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Dr. Sharif has written in excess of 70 original peer-reviewed articles for prestigious medical journals on the imaging features of central nervous system infections and disorders of the musculoskeletal system.

Dr. Sharif was instrumental in establishing the physician-to-physician relationships of WorldCare’s second opinion service. His extensive experience and efforts have bridged the gap between U.S. medical practices and those of the world.

James H. Thrall, MD
Board of Directors, WorldCare Limited, Mobile Aspects Inc.

Dr. Thrall is Chairman of the Board of Directors for WorldCare Limited and for Mobile Aspects Incorporated. Dr. Thrall served as Chairman of the Department of Radiology, Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and as the Juan M Taveras Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School (HMS) from 1988 until 2013. He continues his service at MGH and HMS as Chairman Emeritus and as the Distinguished Taveras Professor of Radiology.

Dr. Thrall received his M.D. Degree from the University of Michigan in 1968 and trained in Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C. where he also held the position of Assistant Chief of Nuclear Medicine for two years before returning to the University of Michigan in 1975 as an Assistant Professor. He was promoted to Professor of Internal Medicine and Radiology in 1981. He joined the staff of the Henry Ford Hospital as Chairman of Radiology from 1983 until 1988.

In the United States, Dr. Thrall has held the positions of President, American Roentgen Ray Society and Chairman, Board of Chancellors and President, American College of Radiology (ACR). He served on the Board of Trustees of the Research and Education Foundation of the Radiological Society of North America, the Board of Directors of the Academy of Radiology Research, the Executive Council of the American Roentgen Ray Society, the Board of Trustees of the Society of Nuclear Medicine, the Board of Councilors of the Society of Chairs of Academic Radiology Departments and the Board of Chancellors of the ACR.

Dr. Thrall is an elected member of the Institute of Medicine (IOM) of the National Academies of the United States. He has served on the Advisory Committee to the Director of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the National Advisory Council of the NIBIB. He is a Fellow of the ACR and has received the Gold Medals of the American Roentgen Ray Society, the Radiological Society of North America, the Association of University Radiologists and the ACR.

Internationally, Dr. Thrall has served on the Board of Directors of the International Society of Radiology and currently serves on the Executive Committee of the International Society for Strategic Studies in Radiology. Dr. Thrall is an Honorary Member of the French Society of Radiology and the European Society of Radiology and an Honorary Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists of the United Kingdom. He received the Beclere Medal from the International Society of Radiology.

Dr. Thrall is an author of over 350 scientific publications, perspectives and reviews and is the founder and Editor of the Requisites in Radiology textbook series.

Corinne Chapman
Director of Strategic Initiatives

Ms. Chapman delivers project management, strategic planning and implementation support to WorldCare International, Inc.’s health care initiatives. Ms. Chapman completed studies at the University of Salamanca and the University of Amsterdam. She received a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Emory University, Atlanta, GA, and a Master’s degree in Political Science from Northeastern University, Boston, MA.
