WorldCare participates in Light the Night Walk

BOSTON, October 15, 2015

 

Several employees of WorldCare International, Inc. participated in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Walk in Boston on Oct. 8, 2015.
The Light the Night Walk is a fundraising campaign that benefits the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that aims to cure blood cancer and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families. This year LLS was able to raise over $400,000 for blood cancer research during the month of September. The Boston Light the Night Walk was held at 5 p.m. at the Boston Common.
“It is important for WorldCare to be involved in the community, which is why we welcomed the opportunity to team up with LLS who shares in our mission of ensuring that people, everywhere, have access to quality health care,” said Kelly Rhodes, Human Resources and Legal Analyst, WorldCare International, Inc.
The WorldCare Walkers Light the Night team was able to raise over $3,000 for blood cancer research.
